Transfer Partnership program
University of British Columbia (UBC) - Sciences Po
The University of British Columbia is among the many partners who welcome Sciences Po students for one year of study as exchange students. Sciences Po students heading for UBC (Faculty of Arts or Faculty of Commerce, Sauder School of Business) also have an additional option: they may enrol at UBC as transfer students for two years of study, and earn a UBC degree.
Several Sciences Po students will be selected jointly by UBC and the College of Sciences Po to enter this program in Fall 2012. Under the transfer agreement, Sciences Po students who complete two years of study at UBC in Commerce, History, Economics, or Political Science/International Relations will receive a UBC degree.
► Eligibility
Eligible students are second year Sciences Po students who are authorized by their program or through a “derogation” to spend their 3rd year abroad in North America

► Student Feedback
"A graduate of the Master Strategy and Finance at Sciences Po and the recipient of an M1 Business Law from Paris I, I completed my training with the “Global Business Law and Governance” program. I believe that I finished my studies at the highest level possible.
These past eight months between Columbia Law School and Sciences Po / Paris I, in the company of the greatest teachers of International Economic Law, allowed me to immerse myself this emerging legal field. The economic crisis made the debate more exciting! I look forward to seeing the benefits of this program in my future career ... "

“I applied to this program because I wanted to give my resume a more international flavor, even though I wasn’t sure what it could actually bring me. It proved to be a great opportunity.
At Columbia, you will be treated like a LLM student and in Paris like a master’s student. This means that you will acquire in less than one year skills that other students could only develop in two years provided they are admitted in LLMs and masters as challenging as Columbia or Paris I. So it is probably the best legal education we can get after Sciences Po. And you’ll get to spend five months in New York City…”
Master of International Studies Program, Elliott School of International Affairs, the George Washington University
Students of the Master of International Studies (M.I.S) program complete an additional academic year of full-time study in Washington, DC. Students pursue expanded study of a complementary global issue or world region, building upon the foundation of coursework completed at the partner school.
