New joint summer course - America, Europe and response to global challenges


 
The Elliott School at George Washington University and the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris are pleased to offer a new joint summer course examining how the United States and Europe are responding to major global challenges. In addition to classroom lectures, students will have multiple site visits to meet individuals working in the policy realm in Paris and in Washington, D.C. The course is designed and led by James Goldgeier, GW Professor of Political Science and International Affairs and Nicolas Jabko, Associate Professor of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University and Sciences Po.

Week One - July 4 to 8, 2011: Paris

Week Two - July 11 to 15, 2011: Washington, D.C.

Sciences Po - Northwestern University: "European Studies" and "Public Health Policy"


 

Two programs in partnership with Northwestern University are hosted by the Parisian campus of Sciences Po. The “Public Health Policy” program’s purpose is to initiate undergraduate students to health care systems policies and public health policies in France and in the European Union, both on an academic and on a practical level. The “European Studies” Program aims to initiate undergraduate students to the contemporary reality of the European Union (EU). Both programs are taught in English and draw on the academic resources and policy connections of Sciences Po, Paris, a leading school of public affairs in France.

 

Sciences Po - George Washington University School of Business and Public Management


 

This academic program is hosted at the Parisian campus of Sciences Po, in partnership with George Washington University. Highlights of the program include corporate site visits and business course offerings. The program features three business courses taught by leading George Washington School of Business and Public Management faculty members. Each course is taught intensively four times a week over three week periods. Two additional courses are offered in collaboration with Sciences Po and are taught by Sciences Po faculty. Each course meets once a week from October to mid-December. All courses are taught in English.
